About this spot

This is a lush, green waterfall park in the neighboring town of Emukae (江迎町), adjacent to Shikamachi Town. Walking along the tree-lined promenade, you'll hear the cool sound of the falling water, letting you forget the summer heat. It's a scenic spot long known to locals, perfect for spending time leisurely with family while connecting with nature. It also makes for a pleasant break before the fireworks festival.

Tips

About a 15-minute drive from Shikamachi Fishing Port (鹿町漁港, Utagaura area). Some parts of the promenade can be slippery underfoot, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. It's about a 15-minute drive to the next stop, the area around Shikamachi Fishing Port, the summer festival venue.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes. In the afternoon, the shade among the trees is cool and comfortable.
