Held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, this is the 39th edition of this summer tradition in Ōseto. About 1,000 fireworks shells launch from off Seto Port, coloring the night sky of this port that has flourished as a shipbuilding town. The sound echoing off the mountains surrounding the harbor gives the show an impact beyond its scale, one of the charms of this festival. Enjoyed shoulder to shoulder with local residents, it's a fitting way to close out summer in Saikai City.
