About this spot

Though located near the center of Ina City (伊那市), this park centers on a pond with abundant greenery and waterside scenery. It's also known as a cherry blossom viewing spot, but in summer the greenery provides pleasant shade, making it perfect for strolling or resting. A walking path runs around the pond, so families can take a relaxed walk while experiencing the nature typical of the Ina Valley.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from JR Ina-shi Station (JR伊那市駅). Mosquitoes tend to appear in summer, so bring insect repellent. It's about a 10-minute drive to the next stop, the Inabe-juku Honjin (伊那部宿本陣).

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes. The shade is cool and pleasant from morning to midday
