These are the Honjin ruins remaining in Midokaito-juku (former Takato-cho Fujisawa, 旧高遠町藤沢), a post town that once thrived along the Tsuetsuki Kaido (杖突街道) during the Edo period. It's a spot where families can learn about the history of a post town that flourished as a key point along the road. While not flashy, it's a quiet, calm historic site, recommended for families who enjoy history.

Tips

Travel here by car from Rokudo-no-Tsutsumi (六道の堤). Since it's located in the former Takato-cho Fujisawa area, away from central Ina, allow extra time for travel. It's a good idea to check in advance whether visiting is possible. The next stop, Torimachi Shopping Street (通り町商店街), takes you back toward central Ina.
