About this spot

This waterfront park is built within the Mibu River (三峰川), featuring a multipurpose plaza, a lawn area, a babbling brook channel, and a mallet golf course. It's designed with access down to the riverbank and also serves as the starting point of the Mibu River cycling and jogging road, making it a hub for enjoying the river. As evening approaches, the Ina Matsuri's lantern parade and food stalls begin to liven up. Once you've had dinner, head toward the area where the Tenryu River and Mibu River meet and secure a viewing spot.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Torimachi Shopping Street (通り町商店街). The surrounding roads get crowded from the evening onward on the day of the fireworks festival. It's a good idea to pick up food and drinks early.

About 2 hours. Around sunset is when the riverbed gets most crowded
