Sarga Shrine (猿賀神社), which has ancient history in the Tsugaru region, and Sarga Park (猿賀公園) spreading around it. Next to the shrine grounds is a large pond called Kagami-no-ike Pond (鏡ヶ池), where water lily flowers color the water's surface in summer. A naturally rich spot also known for white swans flying in during winter, where families can leisurely stroll through the shrine grounds and along the pond's edge. A tranquil place where Tsugaru regional faith and nature harmonize.

2026年8月20日(木)開催、第57回を数える津軽花火大会です。平川河畔の白鳥ふれあい広場から約3,000発の花火が打ち上がり、津軽平野に広がる開けた夜空を彩ります。冬は白鳥の飛来地としても知られるこの場所で、夏は花火を見上げる家族連れでにぎわう特別な夜に。1日たっぷり平川市の歴史と自然を巡った締めくくりにふさわしいフィナーレです。

Tips

荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は平川市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。夜は冷えることがあるので羽織ものを忘れずに。

About 15 minutes on foot from Konan Railway Tsugaru-Onoue Station (弘南鉄道津軽尾上駅), or about 5 minutes by car. Bring insect repellent as mosquitoes are common in summer. About 10 minutes by car to the next destination, Morimien Garden.
