About this spot

This is a parking area on the inbound side of the Tomei Expressway, located in Takamiyaoka, Iwata City. It has a 24-hour convenience store and a food court, along with the Enshu Toyoda Smart Interchange. Since it has a Puratto Park (ぷらっとパーク), you can enter and exit from regular roads too, so even those not using the expressway can stop by. Pick up drinks and food here before heading to the festival venue at the Fukude Fishing Port special venue (福田漁港特設会場). Moving early is reassuring, so you can spread out a leisure sheet, secure a spot, and wait comfortably until the show starts.

Tips

Travel here by car from Tenpyo no Machi (天平のまち). Some areas have traffic restrictions on the day, so it's reassuring to check in advance with Iwata City or the official festival information. If you're aiming for a good spot, arriving around 5 PM is recommended.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 45 minutes. The festival's excitement builds as the sun sets.
