The central district of Izu Nagaoka Hot Spring spread along the Kamo River. Free foot baths are scattered along the street lined with longstanding inns, where you can easily rest your feet during your stroll. You can simultaneously enjoy the open landscape with views of Katsuragi Mountain and the calm ambiance of a traditional hot spring town. The matsuri venue is also nearby, making it convenient to head to the next stop.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace. Foot baths often don't provide towels, so it's handy to bring a small one. As shops get busy in the evening, exploring during this time is recommended.

About 1 hour. Afternoon is perfect for leisurely soaking your feet in the hot spring bath
