Historic Park Where Minamoto no Yoritomo Was Exiled
About this spot
A historic park at the site where Minamoto no Yoritomo is said to have lived during his exile to Izu. Statues of Yoritomo and his wife, Hojo Masako, stand here, surrounded by pastoral countryside. Even for those not particularly interested in history, it's a pleasant spot to catch your breath in a quiet park. It's recommended as a final historical stop before concluding your Izu no Kuni City sightseeing tour.

2026年8月3日(月)開催、伊豆長岡温泉の夏を彩る狩野川まつりのクライマックスです。狩野川の川面に向かって打ち上がる花火は、静かな水面に映り込んで二重の輝きを見せてくれます。葛城山のシルエットを背景にした花火は、温泉町ならではの落ち着いた情緒を感じさせてくれる光景です。絶景と歴史散策から始まった1日の締めくくりにふさわしい夜空です。

荒天時の開催可否は伊豆の国市の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場・周辺道路が混み合うため、余韻を楽しんでから時間差での退場がおすすめです。
