Held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, this festival closes out the summer in the Kishimoto area of Hoki Town, spreading at the foot of Mt. Daisen. First, the Bon Odori dance, held to pray for a good harvest, takes place; after watching the locals dancing in a circle, fireworks launch into the night sky. While there's no official announcement of the number of shells, this is a warm fireworks display that has long been cherished as a locally rooted Obon tradition. Looking up at fireworks accompanied by the sound of drums and folk chants offers a different charm from a fireworks festival in the city.
