About this spot

A hot spring resort area spread at the foot of Kurinodake, a peak in the Kirishima mountain range. Its distinctive feature is the unique scenery with steam rising in various places, and you can experience the rustic atmosphere of a hot spring resort characteristic of mountain valleys. Many facilities offer day-trip bathing, and it's also recommended to take a bath before the fireworks festival to refresh yourself. It's a healing spot characteristic of Yuusui Town, integrated with the surrounding nature.

2026年8月29日(土)開催、山あいを流れる川内川を舞台にした花火大会です。約5,000発の花火が川面を照らし、周囲を山に囲まれた立地のため音が反響して体の芯まで響く迫力を感じられます。名水と温泉に恵まれた湧水町らしい、自然と一体になった花火大会です。フィナーレの連発を見届けたら、家族で夏の思い出を胸に帰路につきましょう。

Tips

荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日は湧水町の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し時間を置いてからの移動がおすすめです。河原は夜間とても暗いので足元にご注意を。
