You can easily understand the island's multifaceted history through photos and materials, including fishing, shipbuilding, and connections with the former Imperial Navy. Visiting after touring the former Naval Academy allows for a deeper understanding of Etajima's historical flow overall. The charm of this compact facility is that it's easy to visit even for a short time.

Tips
荒天時の開催可否は江田島市や主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了後は島内の道路やフェリー乗り場が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。10月末の夜はかなり冷えるため、しっかり防寒して観覧しましょう。

About 5 minutes drive from the Maritime Self-Defense Force First Technical School. The museum isn't very large, making it easy to tour even for a short period. You'll drive to the next destination, Etajima Yume Tamago Roadside Station.

Takes about 45 minutes. Perfect for a visit during the break between tours.
