A local roadside station that also serves as the direct-sale store for the local Tokunaga Tofu Shop, with tofu and soy-based products lined up out front. Enjoying soybean udon unique to this tofu shop is one of the pleasures of a visit here. Fresh island-grown vegetables and Etajima souvenirs are also available, making it a great spot for travel-memento shopping. Take your time savoring the island's flavors before heading off to the fireworks display.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from the Okaki District Local History Museum. It can get crowded during the autumn travel season, so allow extra time. Driving is convenient for the next stop, the area around Etajima Bay.
