The shore of Etajima Bay, the venue for the sea fireworks display. Come evening, food stalls line up and the area starts bustling with locals. Settle in along the bay and fill up on stall food or takeout dinner before the fireworks begin. In late October, the sun sets early and darkness falls quickly, so it's reassuring to secure a spot early.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Shima no Eki Mamegashima. Roads in the area get crowded from evening onward on the day of the fireworks, so allow plenty of time to travel. Late-October nights get quite cold, so dress warmly.
