On the fireworks festival day, crowds increase significantly from the evening onward, so it's recommended to take a leisurely stroll through the station area during the daytime. Checking at the tourism information desk inside the facility for directions to Shuraku-en Park and Oike Park will make your later travel smoother.

東海市の中心部にある大池を舞台に、毎年夏に開催されてきた東海まつり花火大会の会場です。池を囲むように観覧エリアが広がり、約4,000発の花火が夜空だけでなく池の水面にも映り込むのが最大の見どころです。昼間に散策した公園が、夜には花火を見上げる特等席に姿を変えます。フィナーレの連発が池を照らす瞬間は、東海市の夏を締めくくるにふさわしい迫力です。

会場周辺は当日大変混雑するため、早めに到着して場所を確保するのがおすすめです。荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日は主催者の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は駅や駐車場までの道が混み合うため、時間に余裕を持って行動を。
