A signature park of Tokai City featuring a large Buddha statue sitting atop a small hill. The Buddha statue, built in the early Showa period, stands approximately 19 meters tall and is impressive when viewed alongside the panoramic scenery from the hilltop. With its pond and grassy lawn well-maintained, it's an ideal size for families to stroll around leisurely. A quiet moment with the Buddha before watching fireworks in the evening serves as a good rest stop during the busy day.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Ota River Station. There's an uphill slope to reach the top, so check in advance which areas are accessible by stroller. In summer, the sun is strong, so hats or parasols are recommended.

About 1 hour. The Buddha's gentle expression is beautifully illuminated by the soft afternoon light
