A signature summer festival held around Skyroad in central Kashima City. In 2026, it will be held over two days—August 7th (Friday) and 8th (Saturday)—starting at 7 PM, with local dance groups parading through the streets in traditional yukata. Central Kashima, which prospered as the gateway town to Yutoku Inari Shrine, transforms into a special scene illuminated by dancing and lantern light on this summer night alone. As the grand finale to a day spent discovering Kashima's faith, historic townscape, and food culture, experience the heat and energy of local dancing with your family.
