A museum in a reconstructed samurai mansion where high-ranking retainers of the Mita domain once lived. Inside, you can observe period furniture and architectural styles up close, enabling a concrete understanding of the lifestyle of Mita's samurai during the castle town era. Visiting this alongside Shingetsu-in allows deeper appreciation of Mita's history as a feudal domain center. The compact building allows thorough exploration even in a short time.
Tips
Within walking distance from Shingetsu-in. Admission fee required. The building is not very large, requiring only 30-40 minutes for a complete tour.
