This museum introduces the history of Yoichi, which once thrived greatly on herring fishing, displaying tools used in the fishing industry and materials related to Ainu culture. You can learn how the town developed alongside the sea, experiencing a side of Yoichi quite different from the distillery. The museum is cool inside, making it a handy rest stop during a summer stroll.
