About this spot

This roadside farm stand (Sato no Eki, a direct-sale market for agricultural products) is located along National Route 230 in Kimobetsu Town, offering locally grown potatoes, summer vegetables, and processed goods. Many people stop by while on a drive, and it's a place where you can pick up local produce and get a real feel for Kimobetsu's identity as a farming town. It's also convenient for picking up a light meal or drink to start the day.

Tips

The selection of seasonal vegetables changes by the time of year, so check anything you're interested in sooner rather than later. If there is an eat-in space, you can also use it as a rest stop. The parking lot is fairly large, but it can get crowded during busy periods.
