This scenic vantage point offers a stunning view of Mount Yotei, also known as Ezo Fuji (蝦夷富士), from within Kimobetsu Town. The majestic silhouette of the mountain stretching across the farmland below is one of Kimobetsu's must-photograph scenes. On clear summer afternoons, the mountain's contours are particularly sharp and visible from great distances.

喜茂別町の夏を彩る「きもべつ夏まつり」の会場です。2026年は8月8日から9日までの2日間、大町ちびっこ広場を舞台に開かれ、会場には屋台も並んで地域の人々でにぎわいます。羊蹄山と尻別川に抱かれた農業のまちらしく、規模は大きくなくても地元の温かさが感じられる祭りです。田園と清流をめぐった1日の締めくくりに、家族で夏祭りの夜を味わいましょう。
Tips
会場は町の中心部にあり、駐車スペースが限られるため早めの到着がおすすめです。屋台での買い物に備えて小銭を用意しておきましょう。夜は山あいの町のため気温が下がりやすく、羽織ものがあると安心です。
