This fishing port, representative of Kujukuri Town, offers a lively scene unique to a seaside town, with moored fishing boats and the sight of catches being unloaded. On the breakwater you can also see people enjoying surf casting, making it a place to experience the seaside life of Kujukuri Beach up close. Before heading to the beach for the main festival, take a moment to soak in the atmosphere of the harbor.

Tips

Work vehicles sometimes pass through the fishing port, so please stay to the side and stay safe while looking around. There's almost no shade, so preparing sun protection and drinks is reassuring in summer.

Best time to visit

About 40 minutes. The time before the sunlight gets strong is the most comfortable.
