About this spot

Known nationwide as one of the meccas of surfing, this beach features a gently sloping, beautiful stretch of sand. Watching the surfers bobbing among the waves, you can enjoy the majestic Pacific Ocean scenery unique to Kujukuri Beach. Also popular with families during summer vacation, just walking along the sand can give you a wonderfully open feeling.

Tips

If you plan to swim, check the hours and areas where lifeguards are present. The sand can get extremely hot in summer, so sandals or beach shoes are handy. Sun protection is essential due to the strong sunlight.

Best time to visit

About 50 minutes. Early afternoon is a good time to see the waves clearly.
