This green space, developed along the Minamishirako River flowing through Shirako Town, offers a calm waterside scenery quite different from the sea. The breeze crossing the river's surface eases the summer heat, making it a perfect spot to take a break between strolls along the coast. It's also cherished by locals as a relaxing place to walk or jog.

Tips

Much of the promenade is paved, making it easy to walk with a stroller. There can be a lot of insects in summer, so insect repellent is reassuring. Shade is limited, so be sure to hydrate frequently.
