This museum, perched on a hilltop in Inohana Park, is known for its striking castle-style exterior and is affectionately called 《Chiba Castle》. Its exhibits trace the history of the Chiba clan, who revered Myoken-sama as their guardian deity and governed this area, along with the city's development, and the observation floor on the top level offers views over the urban area. Learning about the history of the Chiba clan behind the Myoken Taisai festival deepens your appreciation for the evening's festivities.

Tips

The observation floor on the top level offers great views, so it's best visited on a clear day. The grounds also have many cherry trees, offering different scenery depending on the season. Parking is limited.
