Touch upon the region's history at the ruins of a castle that once governed Aki

About this spot

A park built on the ruins of what is said to have been the residence of a feudal lord who once governed the Aki region, conveying some of the ruins to the present day. A historical site cherished by locals, where you can feel the history of Aki Town, which developed as a castle town. Since it's maintained as a park, the family can easily stop by and enjoy a leisurely walk. Knowing this region's history before heading to the port town makes the evening River Boat Festival feel even more meaningful.
