由布院駅周辺の商店街通りを主会場に、2026年は8月15日・16日の2日間にわたって開催される、由布院盆地を挙げての夏祭りです。由布岳に見守られた盆地の町なかに提灯が灯り、盆踊りの輪が広がる様子は、温泉地としての賑わいとはまた違った、地域に根ざした夏祭りの温かさを感じさせてくれます。観光客も地元の人々も一緒になって踊りの輪に加わることができ、由布院での思い出の1ページになる夜です。

会場周辺は夜になると人出が増えるため、子どもとはぐれないよう注意しましょう。盆地は夜になると気温が下がりやすいため、薄手の羽織ものがあると安心です。
