Take in the entire Osaka cityscape from Japan's tallest observation deck in Western Japan
About this spot
At 300 meters tall, this is the tallest super-high-rise building in Western Japan. From the observation deck "Harukas 300" about 280 meters above ground, you can see a 360-degree panoramic view of the Osaka plain. On clear days, you can even see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Ikoma Mountain, and from above, you can confirm the green of Tennoji Zoo and Tenshibana where you'll be heading next. This is a welcome spot on a summer day where you can stay cool in the air-conditioned building while taking in a panoramic view of Osaka.

天王寺公園のエントランスエリアとして整備された芝生広場「てんしば」で、2026年8月1日(土)・2日(日)に開催される夏祭りです。あべのハルカスを望む開放的な空間に出店やイベントが並び、都心にいながら夏祭りらしい賑わいを楽しめます。天王寺動物園や新世界にも近く、大阪の街の中心で気軽に立ち寄れる夏の風物詩として親しまれています。
Tips
会場は広い芝生広場なのでレジャーシートがあると快適です。夜は屋外の涼しさを感じられますが、日中の暑さが残ることもあるため飲み物は多めに。近隣の商業施設も利用できて便利です。
Tips
About 15 minutes on foot or by public transportation from Shitennoji Temple. Admission to the observation deck is required. It can get crowded, so it's recommended to visit with plenty of time to spare.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour. The view is also beautiful in the afternoon when the western sun shines through.
