About this spot

A massive tower about 180 meters high that rises on the hills of Tondabayashi, built to memorialize war casualties. Its distinctive form, visible from a distance, is known as one of Tondabayashi's landmarks, and its grand scale impresses those gazing up from the base. It's a spot where you can enjoy a modern and unique landscape that contrasts with the calm streetscape of the temple town.

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from Jinaimachi Exchange Hall. Internal viewing of the tower itself is limited, so viewing is primarily from the exterior. As the surrounding area is a residential district, please view quietly.
