The venue is a vast open plaza, so a picnic mat would be comfortable. With little shade, bring extra beverages to handle the lingering afternoon heat. Parking around the venue is limited, so using public transportation is recommended.
Best time to visit
Shortly after the 5 PM opening is relatively quiet; from 6 PM onwards after sunset, when the Suzaku Gate is illuminated, is the highlight.
