ユーモラスな表情の「ひょっとこ」の面をつけた踊り手たちが練り歩く、日向市を代表する夏祭りです。2026年は7月31日・8月1日の2日間、JR日向市駅前のあくがれ広場と中心市街地を会場に、15時から21時30分まで開催されます。おどけた仕草で踊るひょっとこ踊りは見る人を自然と笑顔にさせ、地域の団体が趣向を凝らした衣装やパフォーマンスで練り歩く様子は見応えたっぷりです。日向市街の中心部が祭り一色に染まる、地域を代表する夏の風物詩です。
Tips
会場周辺は歩行者天国になることが多く、ベビーカーでも見学しやすい環境です。長時間の観覧になるため、飲み物と休憩できる場所の確保をおすすめします。荒天時は内容が変更になる可能性があるため、当日の案内を確認しましょう。

A short drive from Ogura Beach. The Ferris wheel requires an admission fee. Summer sunlight is intense; plan rest breaks in shaded areas.
