Floats and dancers parade at Ōmachi—Ichinoseki's summer festival spectacle
About this spot
Ichinoseki Summer Festival is a major summer event held annually in August in Ichinoseki city's downtown Ōmachi area, with the entire community participating. In 2026, it runs for three days from August 7–9. From the evening of the opening day, festival floats and dancers parade through the streets, with taiko drums and flute melodies echoing through the shopping streets.
