This general park in Higashiyama-cho, Ichinoseki City, gathers sports facilities including the Higashiyama General Gymnasium, a baseball field, tennis courts, a multipurpose field, and a park golf course. Besides a lawn plaza, it also features Kayuen (花遊園), a flower garden colored by seasonal blooms, where the whole family can relax and stretch out across the spacious grounds. It's a perfect place to escape the daytime heat, rest up, and prepare for the evening's Suribasawa andon lantern festival.

About 10 minutes by car from Suribasawa Station. The park includes some slopes, so wear comfortable walking shoes.
