About this spot
The small town in front of Tsuwano Station, known as the terminus of the SL Yamaguchi train, features local restaurants and souvenir shops. Since the festival venue at Roadside Station Nagomi no Sato requires a short drive from here, it's convenient to have dinner here before heading to the festival. As evening approaches, you'll feel the festive atmosphere beginning to build around the station.

つわの鯉・恋・来いまつりは、津和野を象徴する「鯉」の存在と、「恋」「来い」という言葉遊びを重ねた、ユニークな名前を持つ祭りです。2026年は8月29日、道の駅なごみの里を会場に開催され、地域の特産品を扱う露店や催しでにぎわいます。昼間にめぐった殿町通りの掘割の鯉を思い出しながら、家族の縁や絆を重ねて楽しめる、津和野らしい遊び心のある夏の締めくくりの祭りです。

道の駅の駐車場を利用できますが、夜は混雑することがあるため早めの到着がおすすめです。荒天時の開催可否は主催者の発表を確認してください。
Tips
The Roadside Station Nagomi no Sato is about 10 minutes by car. Finishing dinner before 4 PM gives you plenty of time to travel to the venue.
Best time to visit
Takes about 35 minutes. Early evening is a good time to secure a table easily.
