From this observation platform overlooking Minokotoku Bay to the south of Shishikui, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the complex Rias coastline terrain and the unique landscape created by aquaculture rafts floating in the bay. Unlike the rough waves of the Pacific Ocean, the calm water surface within the bay gradually reflects gentle light as evening approaches, soothing your travel-weary heart. The view from the observation platform makes you realize that this region has lived alongside the sea.
Tips
Access by car to the observation platform is convenient. There is little shade in the area, so bring a drink even for a short stay.
