A historic shrine located south of Nagoya Castle, serving as the tutelary shrine of Nagoya and cherished by locals for ages. Though located in the city center, its lush grounds are enveloped in tranquility, making it an ideal place to rest after walking through Nagoya Castle and Shikandou. During festival season, the grounds may be decorated with summer touches, heightening the mood for the Entsuji Tanabata Festival you're about to visit.
Tips

Best time to visit
Approximately 30 minutes. Visit in the quieter late afternoon for peaceful prayer.
