A homegrown summer festival held by the citizens at the parking lot of the Aderia General Gymnasium and Cultural Center in Iwakura City. In 2026, it takes place on Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, and this course visits the first day. Starting at 17:30, the 'Iwakura de Night Marche' begins, and one of its main attractions is enjoying the night-market atmosphere with food, drink, and game booths. As night falls, the circle of Bon Odori dancers grows, and you can spend an evening at a warm, homey summer festival unique to a compact town, where local children and adults dance together.

Tips

Since the parking lot itself is used as the venue, it's recommended to visit on foot or by public transportation. Since the marche booths mainly accept cash, it's a good idea to bring plenty of small change. In the evening, most of the activity involves standing outdoors, so use a fan or similar item to stay cool.
