日本海とヒスイの恵みに育まれた糸魚川市で開かれる夏祭り、糸魚川おまんた祭りは2026年8月8日(土)の開催です。市街地一帯が会場となり、「おまんた囃子」と呼ばれる軽快な音頭に合わせて、浴衣姿の踊り手が通りを練り歩く民謡流しが祭りの中心です。地元の人々をはじめ、観光客も気軽に踊りの輪に加わることができ、糸魚川ならではのあたたかい一体感を味わえます。日中に学んだヒスイや大地の歴史の余韻を残しながら、夜は町全体を包む祭りの熱気を存分に楽しみましょう。
Tips
会場周辺は交通規制がかかることがあるため、公共交通機関や徒歩でのアクセスがおすすめです。踊りの輪には飛び入り参加ができる場合もあるため、動きやすい服装で臨むと楽しめます。日本海に近く夜は風が涼しいため、羽織るものがあると安心です。

Entry is free, and the grounds are not overly large, making it easy to visit even for a short time. If you'd like an ema or shrine stamp, check the shrine office hours in advance.
