日本海とヒスイの恵みに育まれた糸魚川市で開かれる夏祭り、糸魚川おまんた祭りは2026年8月8日(土)の開催です。市街地一帯が会場となり、「おまんた囃子」と呼ばれる軽快な音頭に合わせて、浴衣姿の踊り手が通りを練り歩く民謡流しが祭りの中心です。地元の人々をはじめ、観光客も気軽に踊りの輪に加わることができ、糸魚川ならではのあたたかい一体感を味わえます。日中に学んだヒスイや大地の歴史の余韻を残しながら、夜は町全体を包む祭りの熱気を存分に楽しみましょう。
