The 2026 Roppongi Hills Bon Odori is held over three days, August 21 to 23, at the Roppongi Hills Arena. The first day, the 21st (Friday), is the eve festival, with festival stalls set up from 17:00 to 21:00, and a music-and-dance performance called 'Roppongi Raku' from 19:00 to 20:00. The Bon Odori dancing itself takes place on the 22nd (Saturday) and 23rd (Sunday) from 17:00 to 20:00, when lanterns line the plaza and families in yukata and locals form circles of dancers. Enjoy a night unique to Roppongi Hills, where the sophisticated atmosphere of central Tokyo's redevelopment area coexists with the warmth of a traditional summer festival.

Tips

The area around the venue gets crowded from evening onward. Watch out for the flow of people if moving with a stroller. Directly accessible from Roppongi Station on the subway. There's a temperature difference from the air-conditioned indoor facilities at night, so it's reassuring to bring something to layer on.
