Known as a famous cherry blossom spot, in summer the lush green canopy provides comfortable shade for peaceful strolling. Cafes and restaurants dot the riverside, making the return walk to Osaki's complex area enjoyable.

2026年の大崎ニューシティ盆踊り大会は8月21日、22日の2日間、大崎の複合オフィス施設の広場を舞台に開催されます。ふだんはビジネスパーソンが行き交うオフィス街の広場が、夕方から提灯に彩られ、浴衣姿の家族連れや地元の人々でにぎわう盆踊り会場へと表情を変えます。初日となる21日は、日中しながわ水族館や商店街を巡ってきた一日の締めくくりとして、大崎ならではの夏の夜を楽しめます。
Tips
会場周辺は夕方以降混雑します。JR大崎駅から徒歩数分とアクセスは良好です。オフィス街のため終演後の飲食店の数は限られるので、夕食は事前に済ませておくと安心です。
Tips
The promenade is paved and easy to walk, but some sections have minimal shade, so sun protection is recommended. Benches are scattered throughout, allowing for rest stops.
Best time to visit
Approximately 40 minutes. The afternoon breeze from the river is especially pleasant at this time.
