The 2026 Osaki New City Bon Odori Festival is held over two days, August 21 and 22, at the plaza of the mixed-use office complex in Osaki. The plaza, normally bustling with businesspeople during the day, transforms from evening onward into a Bon Odori venue decorated with lanterns and filled with families in yukata and local residents. On the first day, the 21st, enjoy a summer night unique to Osaki as the finale to a day spent visiting Shinagawa Aquarium and the shopping street.

Tips
The area around the venue gets crowded from evening onward. It's within a few minutes' walk from JR Osaki Station, so access is good. Since it's an office district, the number of restaurants open after the festival ends is limited, so it's reassuring to have dinner beforehand.
Best time to visit
From the 17:00 start. After 18:00, once the sun sets and the lanterns are lit, is the liveliest time
