Feel Refreshed in the Mystical Gorge Lined with Stone Buddhas
About this spot
A gorge spreading along the rapids of the Daiyagawa River where dozens of moss-covered stone jizos line a walkway just above the water's surface, creating a unique and serene atmosphere. Called the "Shape-shifting Jizos" from the legend that the count changes each time, it's a fun activity to count them with children. Surrounded by the sound of rushing water and cool mountain air, this hidden healing spot offers refreshment even on hot summer afternoons.
