The castle's earthwork ramparts and dry moats still remain, and walking through the verdant grounds lets you feel the history of this once-flourishing castle town. The park includes open areas and play equipment for children, making it a place where history exploration and rest go hand in hand.

2026年の大田原与一まつりは8月7日、8日の2日間、15時から21時まで、大田原市の中央多目的公園周辺を会場に開催されます。弓の名手・那須与一にちなんだこの祭りでは、会場周辺にキッチンカーが並び、多彩なグルメを楽しみながら過ごせるのが特徴です。初日となる7日は、日中に伝承館や龍城公園を巡ってきた一日の締めくくりとして、午後の早い時間から夜まで長く楽しめる大田原ならではの夏祭りを味わえます。

Tips

会場周辺は祭り期間中、駐車場が混み合いやすいため、時間に余裕を持って向かいましょう。キッチンカーでの食事にはレジャーシートがあると便利です。夜は気温が下がることもあるので、羽織るものを用意しておくと安心です。
