This rest area features highland vegetables and local specialties grown at the high elevation of Namino and is home to the evening festival venue "Kagura-en." Begin here with lunch, acclimatizing your body to the cool highland air as you start your day. In addition to set meals and light snacks made with locally-grown vegetables, there is an excellent gift shop. Since the same location transforms into the festival grounds at night, witnessing the contrast between the daytime and nighttime faces of this place is another highlight.

Tips

The parking lot is spacious, making it relatively easy to enjoy during the day. In the late afternoon on festival day, crowds are expected, so visiting during lunch is recommended.
