七尾市石崎町の八幡神社を中心に開かれる、能登地方でも屈指の勇壮さで知られる奉燈祭です。2026年は8月1日の開催で、高さ十数メートルにもなる巨大な奉燈(キリコ)を若者たちが威勢よく担ぎ、太鼓の音と掛け声とともに町を練り歩きます。港町ならではの荒々しくも活気に満ちた担ぎ方が特徴で、夜が更けるにつれて祭りの熱気は最高潮に達します。能登の夏祭りの中でも特に力強さが際立つ、見応えのある一夜です。
Tips
祭り当日は町内の道路が交通規制となることがあります。奉燈が練り歩く際は周囲が大変混雑するため、小さなお子さん連れは安全な距離を保って見学しましょう。
Tips
The area can get crowded in the evening, so arriving a bit earlier is recommended. Since there is a distance to drive to the Ishizaki-cho venue, allow plenty of time for your schedule.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 50 minutes. Arriving around 4 PM will allow smooth transition to the venue.
