An autumn festival that colors Noto, held throughout Ogi Town in Suzu City, known as the birthplace of set-net fishing. The 2026 festival runs for 2 days on September 19-20, with this course's target day being the first day. Large and small kiriko lanterns lit by lanterns parade through the streets of the port town, and as whistles and drums echo, the festival builds momentum into the night. This small port town that has lived alongside the sea becomes a special evening filled with crowds, offering the opportunity to experience Noto's simple and warm festival atmosphere.

Parking is limited around the venue, so arriving early is recommended. Bring something to wear as it can get chilly at night due to the seaside wind.

Best time to visit

From 5 PM preparations through the evening when kiriko floats begin parading is most impressive.
