About this spot

A nature-rich park developed around the spring pool that is the water source of the Hikiji River, with scenic walking paths surrounded by trees and wooden walkways along the water that bring a pleasant coolness. Despite its proximity to the urban area, the park is home to many wild birds and water creatures, and you can enjoy leisurely walks while observing nature. Even on hot summer days, there is plenty of shade, making it a pleasant place to start your day before heading to the festival.

Tips

The wooden walkways can be slippery in places, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Since insects are numerous in this season, insect repellent is helpful for peace of mind.

Best time to visit

Approximately 50 minutes. Morning to early afternoon with plenty of shade offers a cool experience.
