This park stretches along the Shii River south of Kokura Castle and features a lawn area, fountains for water play, and cultural facilities like the Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Hall. The riverside path has plenty of shade and stays relatively cool even in summer. Walking through both the castle and park lets you savor Kokura's characteristic landscape of castle and river. With many benches, it's perfect for resting before heading to your next destination.

Tips
公園の駐車場は台数に限りがあるため、周辺のコインパーキングも候補に入れておくと安心です。夜は虫が出やすいので虫よけを。ベビーカーは公園内の砂地や芝生で動かしにくい箇所もあるため、抱っこひもがあると安心です。
