Each year, many local dancers participate in this festival rooted in local legend, with the "Uneme Odori Nagashi" (dancing procession), where dancers parade down the street in coordinated yukata, being the festival's highlight. Around Ekimae-dori, the "Uneme de Enichi" (festival stalls) feature food vendors, drawing families.
